Ceramics from the Pacific Islands!
Two independent children’s workshops, on November 2 & 9, dedicated to the ceramic tradition of the Pacific Islands. This is where ceramics intersect with the myths and traditions of the ancient peoples of Polynesia.
Sunday, November 2, 11:00-13:00 & 14:00-16:00
In this workshop, we “travel” to the Pacific Islands and explore the prehistoric Lapita culture. We draw inspiration from the shapes of their ceramics, learn about their incised decoration, and create our own vessels with carvings and imprints.
Design & implementation: Thalassini Bratsou ![]()
The program is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 years.
Participation fee: €15
Our students will receive their ceramics fired and glazed.
