Workshops for children and families
In our fun workshops, kids can dive into the exciting world of clay, exploring different textures and colors while getting their hands clay-messy!
As artists, we thrive on inspiration!
In our pottery projects…
We tell stories and we clay-build our favorite fairy tale characters!
We explore modern history through the museum’s collections!
We draw inspiration from historical art movements to create sculptures and paintings in clay.
We explore cultures around the world, guided by pottery items!
How does a snake transform into a vase?
How does a leaf become a face?
How do rocks and metals give us color?
Kids learn clay-building and pottery decorating techniques.
Our educational approach includes storytelling, sensory play tools, and hands-on learning.
Our pottery projects for kids are tailored to spark their imagination and encourage constructive play with more complex compositions. They help them develop fine and gross motor skills, and offer opportunities for self-expression and collaborative creativity.
Kids workshops are standalone and take place every Sunday, from October to June. They are designed for two age groups: for children 6 to 12 years old and for children 3 to 5 years old.
