The world’s ceramists!
A series of workshops, where children get to know
the work of contemporary ceramists from all over the world!
What techniques do they use?
How do they combine different materials in ceramics?
What molds do they make?
No. 4: My face in clay!
Inspired by the work of French ceramist Jean Derval, children mold, glue, and carve clay using toys, improvised tools, and materials from nature. They capture personalized or imaginary features, facial expressions, and emotions, creating their own ceramic portraits.
