The clay tree!
In the museum courtyard there is a tree that is growing taller!
What are the two chirping sparrows talking about in its branches?
They talk about fairy tales!
This tree knows stories about other trees….
It tells fairy tales about the colorful tree in the sultan’s palace,
about the olive tree engraved on the old jar and about the cypress in the pitcher.
In this workshop, children exploring its collection will discuss the symbolism of trees in ceramics, listen to folk tales.
and create their own clay trees!
