The Center for the Study of Modern Ceramics, in collaboration with the South Aegean Region, the Municipality of Tinos, and the cultural association “Aetofolia” of Tinos, organized the 1st Mediterranean Ceramics Festival in Tinos. The festival featured potters from Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, and France. During the festival, workshops, educational programs, lectures, guided tours, and a photography exhibition were held.
The Center for the Study of Modern Ceramics – G. Psaropoulou Family Foundation (C.S.M.C.) was founded in 1987 by Betty Psaropoulou and is the fruit of her many years of research, the rich collection of ceramics and the archival material she had gathered during her extensive research journey in Greece.
