Ceramics Unite

A group exhibition featuring ceramic works and engravings by Hungarian artist Janos Lipovics and porcelain works by Latvian artist Kristīne Nuķe-Panteļejeva. (May – June 2018)

On the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, the Center for the Study of Modern Ceramics – Foundation of the G. Psaropoulos Family presents a temporary exhibition entitled “Ceramics Unite”, in collaboration with the Embassy of Hungary and the Embassy of Latvia.

The exhibition includes the section Ceramics and Guild with ceramic works and engravings by Hungarian artist Janos Lipovics, as well as the section The Road of the Sun with porcelain works by Latvian artist Kristīne Nuķe-Panteļejeva.

In this way, a network of cooperation, exchange of ideas, and expertise in the field of ceramics is created, highlighting diversity in the art world and strengthening multi-level collaboration between countries with the ultimate goal of reaching new audiences.

The exhibition is part of the celebration of International Museum Day, which this year focuses on the theme “Museums and (Digital) Networks. New Approaches, New Audiences.”
