The Center for the Study of Modern Pottery, as part of its educational activities, offers pottery workshops for organized groups. Participants are guided through the museum’s permanent exhibition, learn about the history of modern Greek pottery, and, through an experiential workshop, are introduced to the art of pottery by creating their own ceramics.

The Center for the Study of Modern Ceramics – G. Psaropoulou Family Foundation (C.S.M.C.) was founded in 1987 by Betty Psaropoulou and is the fruit of her many years of research, the rich collection of ceramics and the archival material she had gathered during her extensive research journey in Greece.
